BUFFALO — Jamestown outscored Mount Mercy Academy 30-19 in the second half to win its sixth game of the season 49-35 in nonleague girls basketball Friday night.

Alyson Canfield led the Red & Green with 29 points, including five 3-pointers, and Anna Engquist chipped in 13 points.

Engquist grabbed 13 rebounds, while Canfield had eight rebounds and seven steals.

Bella Scarcello led Mount Mercy Academy with 10 points.

FORESTVILLE — Natalee Leiper scored 22 points to lead Ellicottville past Forestville 62-34 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 East play.

Dalayla Alexander chipped in 14 points and Ande Northrup had 12 for the Eagles (12-5, 8-1), who led 20-8 after the first quarter.

Carilene Sliwa led the Hornets (3-14, 2-7) with 14 points, eight steals and five rebounds. Justice Yarborough and Ingrid Gibson each had seven rebounds.
