Francis-Led Lancaster Breezes Past Jamestown

Madison Francis, a 5-star college recruit ranked No. 14 in the junior class by ESPN, scored 23 points to lead Lancaster to a 70-48 Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 victory over Jamestown at McElrath Gymnasium.

The Legends led 21-11 after the first quarter before Francis scored 10 points during a 22-4 second quarter.

Morgan Molino added 13 points and Abigail Schlotterbeck had 12 points for Lancaster (10-2, 6-0).

Alyson Canfield led the Red & Green (4-8, 0-5) with 23 points and six rebounds. Carley Daniels had four steals and Anna Engquist had five rebounds in the loss.
