Brocton Sweeps Frewsburg In Division 2

FREWSBURG — The Brocton boys raised their record to 19-9 by downing Frewsburg 4-0 in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 bowling match Wednesday at Frewsburg Lanes.

Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Christopher Furman with a 146-150-151-447. Brocton finished with a linescore of 638-673-662-1,973.

Edwin Clover led the Bears (9-11) with a 164-179-450. As a team, Frewsburg rolled a 585-607-581-1,773.

TROJANS SPLIT

JAMESTOWN — Andrew Drake fired a 224-525 to lead the Southwestern boys to a 4-0 Division 1 victory over Silver Creek on Tuesday at Jamestown Bowling Company.

The linescore for the Trojans (7-13) was 656-689-858-2,203 compared to 588-477-533-1,568 for the Black Knights.

Leading the way for Silver Creek was Kevin Murawski with a 141-347.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Fredonia upended Southwestern 4-0.

Owen Rush smashed a 190-223-588 and Nate Manzella rolled a 202-226-587 to pace the Hillbillies.

Anthony Pratt shot a 193-182-182-557 to lead the Trojans (7-17).

The linescore for Fredonia was 383-938-869-2,645 compared to 736-714-771-2,221 for Southwestern.

BOGERT FIRES 624

JAMESTOWN — Hunter Bogert’s 200-177-247-624 led Clymer/Sherman to a 4-0 win over Randolph in the Division 2 boys match at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Clymer/Sherman’s linescore was 704-791-902-2,397 compared to 656-730-737-2,123 for the Cardinals.

Leading the way for Randolph were Christopher Smith with a 200-221-558 and Wyatt Weaver with a 171-190-165-526.

In the girls match, the Cardinals prevailed 4-0, led by Alyssa Milks’ 176-168-149-493.

Adelie Jackson’s 138-346 topped Clymer/Sherman.

The linscore for Randolph was 555-525-538-1,618 compared to 417-442-443-1,302 for Clymer/Sherman.

RED DRAGONS PREVAIL

CUTTING — Sparked by a 179-222-537 from Keegan Rishel, Maple Grove downed Chautauqua Lake 4-0 in Division 2 action at Cutting Lanes.

The linescore for the Red Dragons was 705-820-743-2,267 compared to 667-602-552-1,821 for the Eagles.

Dayne Jantzi rolled a 162-424 to pace Chautauqua Lake.
