It was a night for huge scores in the Classic Doubles League at Jamestown Bowling Company on Thursday.

Nine 700 series were recorded, including three that exceeded 750 to lead the way.

And, amazingly, two bowlers rolled 300 games.

Topping the list were Byron Woods, who smashed a 227-300-256-783, one pin better than Brandon Miller, who finished with a 300-248-234-782.

Other 700 sets were turned in by Jeff Wadsworth (279-265-756); Ray Textor (243-244-268-755); George Wendell (228-266-243-737); Ang Volpe (236-238-243-717); Andy Blasdell (258-279-717); Jim Mee (297-713); and Mark Gould (279-705).

Also finding the mark in the Classic Doubles League were Brent Miller with a 249-235-698 and Mark Blasdell with a 227-247-687.

Jim Elardo rolled a 212-212-621 during the Friday Morning Senior Coffee Bowl at JBC.
