OLEAN — Southwestern/Jamestown and Panama/Maple Grove/Clymer earned team championships at the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls swimming and diving championships Friday at Olean Middle School.

Southwestern/Jamestown finished with 429 points to win Division 1. Clarissa Hren captured the 200-yard individual medley (2:22.16) and 500-yard freestyle (5:28.73), while Annalisa Krug claimed the 100-yard butterfly (1:11.80). Hren also teamed up with teammates Morgan Faulk, Alexis Grijalva and Faith Hamilton to win the 200-yard freestyle relay. Grijalva, Eliana Barone, Adriana Bango and Abigail Cama won the 400-yard freestyle relay for Southwestern/Jamestown.

Olean/Portville/Franklinville tied for second in Division 1 with 350 points. Tyyetta Herman took the 50-yard freestyle (25.79) and 100-yard freestyle (59.45), while Katie DeGroff won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:18.64). DeGroff and Herman also teamed up with Willow Chase and Kayci Landow to win the 200-yard medley relay.

Frewsburg/Falconer also tied for second with 350 points. Cara Pillittieri captured the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.97) and Taylor Yost won the 100-yard backstroke (1:09.27).

Fredonia/Dunkirk/Forestville/Pine Valley was fourth with 147 points. Elizabeth Pucci-Schaefer’s 1-meter diving victory Thursday led her team.

Panama/Maple Grove/Clymer won Division 2 with 375 points. Emery Watkins captured the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.39) and 100-yard butterfly (1:06.74), while she also teamed up with Desiree Putt, Addi Bryant and Caroline Apthorpe to win the 200-yard medley relay (2:08.94). Watkins, Apthorpe, Putt and Jessica Lyon took the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:51.22).

Allegany-Limestone/Ellicottville was just two points back with 373 points. Sammi Vecchio claimed the 200-yard individual medley (2:35.35), Paige Pecorella took the 500-yard freestyle (6:10.84), Melody Hayes captured the 1-meter diving Thursday and Lauryn Ball won the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.09).

Salamanca was third with 262 points, led by Mikaela Tennity’s victory in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:21.55) and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Tennity, Camryn Quigley, Charli Ross and Kynleigh Wass with a winning time of 4:18.62.

Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton was fourth with 236 points. Addison Luce won the 50-yard freestyle (26.19) and 100-yard freestyle (58.59).
