Falconer Takes Down Randolph Volleyball 3-1
FALCONER — Hannah Melquist had 14 kills, 22 assists, 10 digs and a block to lead Falconer to a 25-21, 17-25, 25-20, 25-18 nonleague girls volleyball win over Randolph on Monday.
Augustine Krenzer had eight kills, nine digs, two aces and two blocks; Mylie Zaranek had six kills, 14 digs and three assists; Nylah Sharpe had 13 digs and three assists; Ashley Smith had eight kills and two blocks; and Brynn Zaranek had 10 digs and three aces for the Golden Falcons (11-1, 7-1 CCAA D1 West).
Eve Adams led the Cardinals (9-2, 8-0 CCAA East) with 29 kills, 10 digs and an ace; Donnilynn Sheldon had 15 kills and four aces; Allie Conley had four kills and 10 digs; Aliza Hind had 46 assists; and Avery Morrison had 25 digs.
PANAMA SWEEPS RED DRAGONS
PANAMA — Kylie Morgan had nine kills and four blocks while Kaitlyn Horton had seven kills and an ace as Panama swept Maple Grove 25-19, 25-18, 25-21 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West play.
Emma Cooper had six kills and four digs; Kiera Loberg had 21 assists; Sarah Harvey had four kills, eight digs and four aces; and Corinne Hovey had eight digs for the Panthers (11-1, 9-0).
Hayley Johnson led the Red Dragons (2-6, 1-5) with 10 kills, four blocks and five digs; Hannah Benson had 12 digs; Harper Dawes had three kills and three aces; Bayley Godfrey had 15 assists and two blocks; and Lily Benedetto had 15 digs.
CHAUTAUQUA LAKE COASTS
BROCTON — Bre Smith had six kills, five aces and six digs while Ava Olson had three kills, five aces, nine digs and eight assists as Chautauqua Lake swept Brocton 25-14, 25-12, 28-26 in Division 2 West.
Brynn Engdahl had eight kills, two aces and nine digs; Jeanine Group had five kills, an ace and three digs; and Makenna Smith had three kills, five digs and 10 assists for the Thunderbirds (7-2, 7-2).
Evie Morrison led the Bulldogs (2-7, 0-6) with six assists, three blocks, three digs and two aces; Zoe Spiller had two kills, two blocks, four digs and two aces; Grace Lundine had 11 digs; Andrea Spiller had two kills, two assists, three blocks and two digs; and Michael Matos had seven digs and two aces.
JOHNSON LEADS CLYMER/SHERMAN
SHERMAN — Lilly Johnson had six aces, five kills and three digs for Clymer/Sherman in a 25-6, 25-11, 25-17 Division 2 West sweep of Cassadaga Valley.
Kelsey Wagner had four kills, four assists and an ace while Kenadi Long had three aces, three kills and three assists for the Wolves (6-5, 5-4).
The Cougars fell to 1-9 overall and 1-5 in the league.
NORTH COLLINS FALLS
BUFFALO — City Honors swept North Collins 25-9, 25-21, 25-11 in nonleague action.
Lily Montaldi led the Eagles (3-8, 2-6 CCAA East) with five kills and Zoe Kreinheder had five assists.
EAGLES DOMINANT AT SERVICE LINE
HINSDALE — Cora Norton served up eight aces to go along with 11 kills and five digs as Ellicottville beat nonleague Hinsdale 25-9, 25-17, 25-15.
Ande Northrup had two kills, 18 assists, six digs and five aces while Natalee Leiper had four kills, three aces and seven digs. Alivia Fisher also had three aces as the Eagles (8-4, 5-3 CCAA East) totaled 20 as a team.
