Maple Grove Trims North Collins 3-1

Kylie Kress scored a goal and an assist to lead Maple Grove past North Collins 3-1 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West girls soccer action Monday.
Alex Caldwell picked up the assist on the Kress goal, while Madison Hill and Madilyn Seastrum scored a goal apiece for Maple Grove. Megan McGee made eight saves in the victory.
CARDINALS ROLL PANTHERS
RANDOLPH — Randolph dominated Pine Valley/Gowanda in a 7-1 East Division win.
The Cardinals were led by Gianna Bowles netting a hat trick, Quinn Pence added two goals and an assist, Sara Smith scored a goal and an assist, Sadie Steward had two assists, Alexis Sevenish scored once, and Brooke Foster had one assist.

Randolph’s Stella Smith made six saves for the win in net.
T’WOLVES EDGE WOLVERINES
CATTARAUGUS — Evelyn Janora scored two second half goals to send Cattaraugus-Little Valley past Westfield/Brocton 2-1 in nonleague action.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley (1-2, 0-1 CCAA East) received a strong nine-save performance in net by Kierra Knobloch to pick up its first victory of the season.
Westfield/Brocton (1-2, 0-1 CCAA West 2) had an even better game from its keeper Colie Bundy making 14 saves, almost snatching the game from the Timberwolves. The Wolverines struck first in the contest with Sophia Wolfe netting a goal in the 20th minute assisted by Lyra Stephenson.

GOLDEN COUGARS TIE OLEAN
FALCONER — Leea Kopp scored in the 52nd minute to salvage a 2-2 tie for Olean in Division 1 West action against Falconer/Cassadaga Valley.
The Golden Cougars led 2-1 at halftime. Andrea Johnson scored from Brynn Helms less than a minute into the game and Julianna Roth scored unassisted in the 27th minute.
Kopp scored in the ninth minute for the Huskies before tying the game in the second half.
Ellyson Baglia made 10 saves for Falconer/Cassadaga Valley (2-1-1, 0-1-1) and Emma Edwards had seven saves for Olean (2-2-1, 0-1-1).
WARRIORS BLANK PANTHERS
SALAMANCA — Keianna John turned aside all 13 shots she faced to lead Salamanca to a 1-0 victory over Franklinville in East Division action.
Salamanca (1-2, 1-1) received a second-half goal from Bella Wolfe with Madisyn Lafferty picking up the assist.
EAGLES SHUT OUT PORTVILLE
PORTVILLE — Courtney Marsh made nine saves for Ellicottville to keep Portville off the scoresheet, but all she needed was some support on the scoreboard.
The Eagles (2-1, 2-0) finally gave that support in the 78th minute when Audrey Hurlburt finished off a pass from Addison John to secure the 1-0 East Division victory.
