Napoleon Shines At USATF Outdoor U20 Championships
EUGENE, Ore. — Allegany-Limestone’s Angelina Napoleon added to the trophy case again on Saturday, this time collecting hardware at the USATF Outdoor U20 Championships.
The national record holder, Napoleon, won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:15.09, which was good for No. 4 all-time at the distance.
Finishing in second place was Catherine Garrison at a time of 10:37.16 and third was Sydney Collier with 11:14.99.
Napoleon was not done there and on Sunday reached the podium again, this time in the 1,500 meters with a third-place finish at a time of 4:22.62. She finished just behind Ellie Shea running a first-place time of 4:19.58 and Sophia Gorriaran taking second at 4:21.10.
