RUSSELL, Pa. — Pete Hofert led the way in Week 12 of the Senior Men’s League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.
Not only did he shoot a 35 for low gross, but he also collected two birdies and seven pars on his way to a league-high 8.5 points.
Juan Torres fired the low net with a 30 and Jerry Abbey is the top points getter for the season with 68.
Joining Hofert with two birdies were Torres and Dan Matteson. Collecting a birdie apiece were Gary VanGuilder, Dan Hoden, John DeAngelo, Bill Petransky, Bob Orbanic and Dale Melquist.

MAYVILLE — Marsha Gastol shot a gross 35 in Class A; Roxie Maytum a gross 50 in Class B; and Diane Paterniti a gross 52 in Class C to lead the Wednesday Morning Ladies League at Willow Run Golf Course.
Mary Gibb had a net 30 in Class A; Linda Smith a net 35 in Class B; and Brenda Hagadorn a net 33 in Class C.
Sue Skoglund, Cassie Brigham, Doris Large and Emma McCreary had the fewest putts with 16 apiece.
