NORTH EAST, Pa. — Brian Eckwahl shot a 79 to lead all golfers during Asquith Senior Golf Tour action Tuesday at Green Meadows Golf Course.

Dale Melquist led the White A Flight with an 81 and was a plus-1 in Stableford scoring. Brian Rupczyk was even-0 and Henry Johnson was minus-4.

Roger Overend’s 92 and plus-4 led the White B Flight. Marty Burroughs was plus-1 and David Gayton was minus-1.

Eckwahl’s 79 led the Gold A Flight and he was also plus-6. Harold Johnson was minus-1 and Bill Cross was minus-2.

Randy Carlson’s 89 led the Gold B Flight. Tom Vogan and Pete Pascatore were both plus-3 and Carlson was plus-1.

Tom Szydlo’s 87 and plus-3 led the Gold C Flight. Paul Edson was minus-1 and Craig Underwood was minus-2.

Ed Potter’s 106 led the Gold D Flight. Potter was plus-4, Tuck Underwood was plus-3 and Don Maloney was plus-1.

Closest-to-the-pin honors went to Eckwahl at No. 3, Vogan at No. 7, Bill Hart at No. 13 and Jim Hale at No. 16.

The tour will stop at South Hills Country Club next Monday and Union City Country Club on Monday, July 24.
