SOUTHERN TIER GIRLS BABE RUTH SOFTBALL

MAJORS DIVISION

South Dayton Fillies defeated Falconer’s Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union 23-10.

Vicki Erickson led the offense for the Fillies with a single and a double. MacKenzie Schroeder scored twice for the Fillies and also made her pitching debut.

Sophia Dabic singled and scored twice while Cierra Rodriguez played solid defense for Falconer.

South Dayton Fillies defeated Panama’s Neil’s Propane 24-7.

Aslynn Silleman struck out eight batters and Rebekah Jankowski scored twice for the Fillies.

Tori Lombardo was the offensive player of the game and Tessa Jones was the defensive player of the game for Panama.

Mayah Reyes and Sage Chimenti each scored twice for Southwestern’s Chautauqua Striders in a 16-15 win over Falconer’s Hogan’s Hut.

Alyssa McNinch made a key defensive play at first base for Chautauqua Striders.

Elizabeth Bemus was very aggressive and played great defense at third base, left field and catcher, while also doubling for Hogan’s Hut. Kaitlyn Hostmer also played well defensively.

Mayah Reyes, Alayna Spiesman and Ida Malmstrom Jouannet stood out for Southwestern’s Chautauqua Striders in a 15-10 win over Jamestown’s Slone Melhuish Insurance.

Chloe Cimo and Carley Daniels stood out defensively for Slone Melhuish Insurance.

Taylinn Emley and Alayna Spiesman were Southwestern’s Chautauqua Striders’ best players in a 24-5 victory over Frewsburg’s Evans Services.

Zoey Grey was the top player for Evans Services.

MINORS DIVISION

Nora Roberts had three singles and drove in the winning run as Randolph topped Bemus Point 15-14.

Aryana Dybka went 3 for 3 while Tessa Brown and Oakley Walters were the defense difference makers for Randolph.

For Bemus Point, Sienna Reynold was the offensive player of the game and Grace Moore was the defensive player of the game.

Chautauqua Lake’s Ashville Fire Department beat Jamestown’s Allied Alarm Services with Riley Stroup shining as the top offensive player and Abbie Ames being the top defensive player for Ashville Fire Department.

Nyah Rodriguez was Allied Alarm Services’ top offensive player.

Frewsburg’s Moonlight Electric defeated Bemus Point.

The offensive player of the game for Frewsburg was Eloise Marsh and the defensive player of the game was Cora Cruea.

The players of the game for Bemus Point were Layla Moore, Hazel Lutgen and Ella Martinelli.

11U TED WILLIAMS DIVISION

The Southwestern Gladiators defeated North Buffalo 7-3, defeated the New York Stingers 10-6, and defeated Eden twice, 16-4 and 18-8.

In the win over North Buffalo, Bennett Larson had an RBI triple, Alexander Olson and Remington Smith each had an RBI single, and Austin Bushey, Brysen Thayer and Gage Olmsted each had a single.

In the win over the New York Stingers, Ethan Smrekar had a triple, a single and an RBI, Olmsted had a double and, a single and an RBI, Nolan Truver had three singles and four RBIs, Ryan Burnett had two singles, and Tage Mazzurco, Collin Carlson and Thayer each added a single.

In the wins over Eden, Olmsted had a double, three singles and three RBIs, Smrekar had two doubles and a single with an RBI, Smith had a double, two singles and three RBIs, Olson had three singles and an RBI, Burnett had a triple and a double with four RBIs, Truver added a double and a single with two RBIs, Mazzurco had a double, a single and an RBI, Larson had a triple, a single and an RBI, Bushey had two singles and an RBI, and Jeramie Rodriguez, Thayer and Carlson each added a single.

10U BRYCE HARPER DIVISION

Jaxson Swanson doubled, tripled and hit a home run while driving in two and scoring three to lead the Diamond Dawgs to a 21-1 victory over Mel Ott Gray.

Jack Butzer added two hits, including a triple, an RBI and two runs scored; Liam Mulkins had a double, a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored; Collin Bragg had two hits and three runs scored; and Greyson Whitfield and Curtis Spielman both doubled for the Diamond Dawgs.

Mulkins, Lukas Youngberg and Spielman combined on a one-hitter with eight strikeouts on the mound.

INTERLEAGUE LITTLE LEAGUE

MAJORS DIVISION

Hunter Nelsen hit two doubles to lead Frewsburg’s Moonlight Electric past Falconer’s Moore’s Auto 11-5.

Brayden Beckstrom had two singles, Colten Signorino poked a triple and a single, and Jaxson Swanson chipped in with a single for Moonlight Electric.

Moore’s Auto was led by Chase Parmentier with two singles while Sullivan Saunders had a triple.

Lucas Arrance struck out seven in three innings to lead Falconer’s Moore’s Auto past Randolph’s Old Tool Tavern 21-9.

Chase Parmentier led Moore’s offensively with a double and three singles to go along with three RBIs. Sullivan Saunders and Waylin Goodwin both hit triples to the fence, while Suanders added a single and two RBIs. Zack Stoll added three singles and two RBIs, Ian Chapman had two singles, and Jenna Bellinger and Wyatt Ingrao contributed a hit and an RBI apiece.

Old Tool Tavern’s offense was led by Leland Reduart and Garrett Benson.

Tage Mazzurco had two hits, including a triple, two runs scored and an RBI to lead Frewsburg’s Storage LINC past Frewsburg’s Moonlight Electric 11-8.

Bryan Heald added two hits, including a double, four RBIs and two runs scored; Blake Eckman doubled, drove in a run and scored a run; Jackson Marsh had two hits and an RBI; and Curtis Spielman had two hits and two RBIs for Storage LINC.

Asa Rounds went 3 for 3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored; Collin Bragg had two hits adn two runs scored; and Brayden Beckstrom doubled and drove in a run for Moonlight Electric.

Marsh, Eckman and Mazzurco combined to strike out 12 on the mound for Storage LINC while Maxx Davis and Bragg struck out 10 for Moonlight Electric.

Lincoln Moller had two hits, including a double, and scored two runs to lead Frewsburg’s Storage LINC over Falconer’s Bloomquist Landscaping 11-2.

Bryan Heald had two hits, including a double, drove in a run and scored a run; Blake Eckman doubled, drove in a run and scored a run; and Tage Mazzurco and Gage Olmsted each singled and scored two runs for Storage LINC.

Olmsted, Mazzurco and Jack Butzer combined on a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts on the mound.

CITY REC BASEBALL

The Affinity One Credit Union Blue Jays improved to 3-0 with a 21-4 win over the Rockies.

Collin Devlieger had the only home run for the Blue Jays and went 4 for 4 to hit for the cycle. Caleb Webster went 4 for 4 with three doubles; Maddie Martin and John Dieter each went 3 for 4; and Thomas Gage had his first hit of the season.

Guss Phanco hit the only home run for the Rockies and went 2 for 2. Dono Ernewein went 2 for 2 and Malik Watkins tripled.

The Affinity One Credit Union Blue Jays beat the Athletics 26-1.

With Connor Devlieger went 5 for 5 and hit for the cycle while adding a second double. Chandler Devlieger went 5 for 5 with two doubles; Lexi Oste and Alex Erickson each went 5 for 5 with a double; and Branson Pastorchik went 4 for 4 with a double.

For the Athletics, Cora Matherly had the only home run and Aaron Berg went 2 for 2.
