ALLEGANY — The Frewsburg boys and Franklinville/Ellicottville girls came away with team titles at the Gator Relays at Allegany-Limestone Central School on Friday night.

The Bears recorded 104 points to outdistance Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton (89) and Allegany-Limestone (71) in the 10-team boys field.

Meanwhile, the Lady Panthers finished with 92 points, 10 more than second-place Pioneer. Allegany-Limestone finished third with 72 and Portville was fourth with 71 among the nine teams.

The Frewsburg boys turned in first-place finishes in the 100-meter dash relay, 1,600-meter run relay, 4-by-200-meter relay, 4-by-400-meter relay, distance medley, 4-by-100-meter shuttle hurdle and long jump relay.

Landon Stormer and Jacob Constantino combined for a time of 23.43 seconds in the 100-meter dash relay; Cody Kent and Juvenal Diaz-Cortes combined for a 9:32.07 in the 1,600-meter run relay; Contantino, Patrick Spencer, Vincent Sanfilippo and Stormer ran a 1:38.38 in the 4-by-200-meter relay; Constantino, Diaz-Cortes, Devereaux and Stormer ran a 3:44.17 in the 4-by-400-meter relay; Micah Barber, Noah Erickson, Xander Pitts and Kent combined for a 12:04.55 in the distance medley; Zayne Cline, Devereaux, Jaden Collver and Josh Burch ran a 1:00.40 in the 4-by-100-meter shuttle hurdle; and Spencer and Sanfilippo combined for a distance of 35 feet, 9 inches in the long jump relay.

Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton turned in four first-place finishes.

The 4-by-100-meter relay team of Nick Jacobson, Cole Otto, Sullivan Ferrino and David Speagle won in 46.04 seconds; the same quartet took the 800-meter sprint relay (1:41.12); Jacobson in the high jump relay (5-8); and Jack Bourgeois and Michael Horvath teamed up for the triple jump relay title with a distance of 71 feet, 3 inches.

GIRLS

Franklinville/Ellicottville claimed four first places en route to the team victory.

They were earned by Tyyetta Herman and Isabella Thomson in the 100-meter dash relay (27.63); Bianca Bush and Abby Chudy, who tied for the high jump relay title at 9 feet; Anna Slavinski and Trinity Herman, who tied for the pole vault relay crown at 13 feet; and Megan Jackson and Elizabeth Price in the shot put relay at 59 feet, 2.5 inches.

Other local athletes who were event winners were Frewsburg’s 400-meter shuttle hurdle relay team of Gracie Conlan, Olivia Hallenbeck, Grace Lennon and Sopheia Nelson-Bennett (1:06.99), and the Bears’ Brea Rubrecht and Madigan Collver in the discus relay (161-9).
