Sporting a 16-4 record, Randolph sits atop Class C, while Panama (16-4) is No. 1 in Class D.

The Cardinals will open their postseason with a quarterfinal matchup against the No. 8 Global Concepts-No. 9 JFK winner at 7 p.m. Thursday. Other area schools in Class C are No. 7 Cassadaga Valley and No. 10 Chautauqua Lake, who will square at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a prequarterfinal game at Maple Grove; and No. 6 Gowanda and No. 11 Gowanda, who will meet at 7 p.m. in another prequarterfinal.

The semifinals in Class C are set for 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, March 2 at Jamestown Community College.

The finals will be played at 2 p.m. March 4, also at Jamestown CC.

In Class D, Panama will meet the winner of No. 9 Maple Grove-No. 8 Barker in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Thursday. That same night, No. 5 Pine Valley will travel to No. 4 Franklinville; No. 2 Ellicottville will meet the No. 7 Westfield-No. 10 North Collins winner; and No. 6 Clymer will travel to No. 3 Sherman.

The Class D semifinals are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Jamestown CC. The finals will be played at noon March 4, also at Jamestown CC.

Other high seeds among area teams are Jamestown, No. 3 in Class AA and Southwestern, No. 3 in Class B2. The Red Raiders will entertain No. 6 Orchard Park in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Friday, while the Trojans will entertain the No. 6 Newfane-No. 11 Salamanca winner at 7 p.m. the same night. No. 7 Falconer will entertain No. 10 Fredonia at 5 p.m. Tuesday in a prequarterfinal.

The Class AA semifinals are scheduled for March 2 at Sweet Home, and the final will be played at 7 p.m. March 5 at Buffalo State. The Class B2 semifinals will be played March 1 at Kenmore West, while the finals are slated for 5 p.m. March 5 at Buffalo State.

In Class B1, No. 12 Dunkirk travels to No. 5 East Aurora in a prequarterfinal game at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The semifinals in that classification are Feb. 28 at Kenmore West, with the finals scheduled for 3 p.m. March 5 at Buffalo State.
