Morrison Has Big Night As Randolph Rolls Past Gators

ALLEGANY — Payton Morrison scored a season-high 23 points, including seven 3-pointers, and grabbed four rebounds to go along with four assists as Randolph coasted past Allegany-Limestone 91-34 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 West girls basketball action Friday.

All 10 players scored for the Cardinals (12-4, 7-0), who led 25-9 after the first quarter and 47-19 at halftime.

Kyra Pence had 19 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals; Skylar Herington contributed 13 points, five rebounds and three assists; Quinn Pence had 9 points, seven steals and seven assists; Katelyn Storer scored 6 points and pulled down seven rebounds; and Gianna Bowles had 5 points, six steals and four assists in the win.

Maddie Callen led Allegany-Limestone (2-14, 1-6) with 16 points.

SOUTHWESTERN ROLLS

OLEAN — Reece Beaver led four players in double figures with 21 point as Southwestern rolled past Olean 68-17 in a Division 1 West game.

Kira Ricker chipped in 16 points, Bella Sirianni added 13 and Madi McIntyre had 10 for the Trojans, who raised their record to 12-4 overall and 6-1 in the division.

Southwestern, which led 34-6 at halftime, also received eight assists and four rebounds from Ricker; five rebounds, two blocks and five steals from McIntyre; five assists, three boards and two steals and a block from Reece Beaver; and three rebounds and three steals from Lauren Cotter.

Leah Williams had 9 points to lead Olean (7-9, 3-4).

FREWSBURG — Jadyn Trocki had 20 points, including four 3-pointers, and Teghan Trocki had 13 points, including thre 3-pointers, as Frewsburg beat Falconer 55-30 in Division 1 East play.

Taytum Jimerson had 12 points, six assists and five steals; Teghan Trocki had seven assists and six steals; and Madigan Collver and Paige Whippo had six rebounds apiece for the Bears (6-10, 4-3), who led 21-4 after the first quarter and 39-8 at halftime.

Dani Krenzer led the Golden Falcons (10-7, 5-2) with 13 points and three assists; Autumn Lynn had six rebounds; Kamryn Harper had five rebounds; and Kayla Jo Lynn had three steals and two assists.

Haleigh Dellow added 9 points, eight rebounds and three steals for the Wolverines.

Silver Creek’s effort was led by Kay Hutchison with four steals and three assists while Rachael Beadle had seven rebounds.

MAYVILLE — Sherman rolled past Chautauqua Lake 47-31 in Division 2 West action.

Paige Gratto led the Wildcats (12-4, 9-1) with 11 points and eight rebounds, Hayden Fisher had 10 rebounds and four assists, and Leighanne Swan and Tayden Persons had seven rebounds each.

Chautauqua Lake’s (8-9, 3-6) effort was led by Erma Wolcott with 8 points.
