SOUTH DAYTON -- It was a night to remember for Cassadaga Valley's Emiley Anderson.
The Cougars' sophomore tied the school record for points in a game with 42 and every single point was needed as Cassadaga Valley edged Pine Valley 56-52 in overtime of a nonleague girls basketball game on Friday.
The Cougars (1-2, 0-0) rallied back in the second half after falling behind 24-14 at halftime. Cassadaga Valley outscored Pine Valley 30-20 in the second half.
The Pine Valley (1-2, 0-0) offense was led by Danielle West scoring 21 points with five 3-pointers.

DUNKIRK -- Chautauqua Lake rolled past Dunkirk in nonleague action 47-27 at Dunkirk High School.
The T'Birds were led by Erma Wolcott with 13 points and Elise Riedesel added 10.
Dunkirk's effort was led by Molly DiCara with 8 points, six steals and four rebounds.

Abby White chipped in 9 points and five rebounds for the Pirates (3-0, 1-0).
Kaylee Hutchison hit a pair of 3-pointers for the Black Knights (1-3, 0-1).
