Randolph Clinches Class D Title
PORTVILLE — Xander Hind ran for 218 yards and two touchdowns as Randolph clinched the Class D title outright with a 39-0 victory over Portville on Friday night.
Hind scored on runs of 48 and 5 yards in the first half while Carson Conley added a 20-yard touchdown pass to Jaiden Huntington as the Cardinals (8-0, 7-0) led 24-0 at halftime.
In the fourth quarter, Conley added a 16-yard touchdown pass to Huntington and Maverick Adams scored on a 4-yard run.
Conley finished with four completions for 98 yards.
The Randolph defense held Portville to just 76 yards of offense on 38 plays.

WARRIORS CLINCH SHARE OF TITLE
SALAMANCA — The Salamanca Warriors shut out Silver Creek/Forestville 40-0 to clinch a share of the Class C South title Friday at Veterans Park.
Jesse Stahlman found paydirt twice on his rushes for 118 yards and Arlen Newark reached the end zone through the air and on the ground to help lead the Warriors (6-2, 4-1) to victory.
It was first Newark to score on a 21-yard run, then Stahlman ran in a 5-yard score to give Salamanca a 14-0 lead after the first. In the second, Stahlman added a 18-yard touchdown and Newark caught a 31-yard reception from Jaxson Ross. JT Auman added a final 2-yard rushing touchdown that sealed the game at 40-0.
Jaxson Ross was 3 for 4 for 66 yards and one touchdown pass, and he rushed in a 4-yard score in the second quarter.
Silver Creek/Forestville (2-6, 1-4) was led by Matt Woleben throwing 9 for 20 for 91 yards and Christian Borrello rushed for 33 yards on six carries. Alex Galfo was Woleben’s main target with five receptions for 53 yards.
Salamanca’s Tayoni Galante and Cory Holleran both reeled in an interception on defense.

TITANS WIN SHOOTOUT
CATTARAUGUS — Franklinville/Ellicottville put up 49 points in the first half en route to a 62-34 Class D shootout win over Cattaraugus-Little Valley.
The Titans (6-2, 5-2) led 27-6 after the first quarter. Braylon Wyatt ran for a 21-yard touchdown, Noah Shenk caught a 42-yard touchdown from Gian Nuzzo, Beau Bielecki ran back a punt 60 yards for a score and Jacob Dahlke ran for a 1-yard touchdown.
In the second quarter, Nuzzo caught a 33-yard touchdown from Isaac Towne, Shenk returned an interception for a score and the Titans scored on another 54-yard run.
Eleven players carried the ball for Franklinville/Ellicottville, totaling 160 yards on the ground.
For the Timberwolves (0-8, 0-7), Payton Bradley threw three touchdown passes, one to D.J. Szata for 70 yards and two to Ruben Bronsema, one for 68 yards and another for 30 yards. Szata also returned a kickoff 84 yards for a score.

BEARS RALLY
GOWANDA — Frewsburg scored the final 20 points of the game to rally past Gowanda/Pine Valley for a 27-20 Class D victory Thursday.
After the Panthers (2-6, 1-6) took a 20-7 lead, the Bears’ Patrick Spencer caught a 50-yard touchdown pass from Chase Haglund. Kaydan Bush’s second of three successful point-after kicks made it 20-14.
Frewsburg (3-5, 2-5) took the lead when Payton Dustin caught an 11-yard touchdown from Haglund and Bush kicked the PAT. The Bears closed out the scoring as Haglund ran in a touchdown from 22 yards away.
In the first half, Spencer ran a punt back 56 yards for a score to make it 7-0.
Gowanda/Pine Valley scored the next three touchdowns. First, Kaleb Smith returned an interception 39 yards. Next, Logan Ruff caught a 25-yard touchdown from Harlee Conklin. Finally, Winter Rivera scored on a 3-yard run.
Defensively for the Bears, Dustin was in on 14 tackles, Vincent Sanfilippo was in on 12 and Harrison Eckert was in on 10. Chad Ramsey intercepted a pass.
For the Panthers, Conklin ran for 128 yards and Rivera ran for 89. Smith was in on seven tackles and Ben Krajewski was in on five.
Frewsburg will be the No. 6 seed in Class D and travel to No. 3 Portville while Gowanda/Pine Valley will be the No. 7 seed and visit No. 2 Franklinville/Ellicottville.
