The Westside Panthers hosted the Dunkirk Marauders on Saturday for a trio of games.

The Westside Panthers modified team rallied to win a toe-to-toe battle.

Quarterback Noah Gonzales connected with Karson Milne on a 2-yard touchdown pass to take the lead with less than a minute on the clock.

The Panthers defense ended all hopes of a Dunkirk comeback.

Nazayah Figuerdo piloted the offense, scoring a pair of touchdowns, rushing for 132 yards and completing a pair of passes to Blake Smith. Max McClure, Josh Piazza and Gonzales all contributed in the run game.

The defense saw Nazayah notch nine tackles. Izayiah Holland and McClure had six stops apiece. Cole Strickland and Gonzales each grappled four opponents to the turf. Piazza snatched the ball from a Dunkirk receiver, stopping their drive and giving the ball to his team. Blake Swanson had two tackles and batted down a pass.

The Panthers varsity lost a hard-fought battle 12-6.

The defense saw Camden Yates, Gage Delahoy, Mason Kent and Mason Charles have five tackles apiece. Noah Langworthy and Leishya Perez each had a sack and three tackles. Carter Nickerson had a key interception.

Quarterback Jacob Piazza hooked up with Alaric Richards for a 62-yard touchdown pass. Richards added 63 yards rushing. Kenton Knight snagged a 16-yard pass.

The Westside JV team lost a close game 12-6.

Grant Langworthy had the only touchdown and led all runners with 76 yards. Jaden Silliman rumbled for 54 yards while Benecio Pacheco had 34 yards rushing. Cameron Bowman rounded out the attack with 23 yards rushing.

Benecio Pacheco spearheaded the defensive attack with seven tackles. Grant Swanson and Landon Patric had five stops apiece. Noah Smith and London Stokes each wrestled three Marauders to the ground.

The Westside Panthers have a bye next week then finish the season at Strider Field against the Southside Blue Devils.
