Moon Brook CC Hosts Frank Farrell Charity Classic

Twenty-six of Western New York’s finest PGA professionals competed in the Frank A. Farrell Charity Classic Pro-Am at Moon Brook Country Club earlier this summer.

The pros played for a purse of $10,000.

Nick Palladino took first with a 69 followed by Rob Krajewski with a 71.

In the team results, Kirk Stauffer teamed up with Rich Farrell, Mike Roberts and Jim Cirbus to shoot a 123 and win by six strokes over Kyle Benish, Ricky Turner, Matt Churchill and Billy Evans. Michael O’Conner, Mike Wellman, Tom Olson and Gary Johnson took third with a 130 while David Patrokik, Jordan Eich, Brian Whalen and David Lockwood won a tiebreaker over Ryan Swanson, Jason Stronz, Alex Johnson and Judge LaMancuso for fourth place with 131s.

Steve Barber, Bob Sedon, Bill Massa and Shawn Baldensperger won a tiebreaker over Nick Palladino, Pete Pillittieri, Mike Condella and Mike Marshall for sixth with 132s. Troy Moss, Tom Calalesina, David Dawson and John Bloomstine won a tiebreaker over Sean Moffat, Kevin Brombacher, Tom Holt and Roy Glosser as well as Tim Falkner, Jon Gren, Pete Morgante and Mike Moyer for eighth with 133s.

All proceeds raised benefited the Former Troopers Helping Hands Inc. and the Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County.
