Gowanda Tops North Collins In East Division

GOWANDA — Holland Browning had 10 kills, six aces and 16 digs as Gowanda downed North Collins 25-19, 11-25, 25-14, 25-22 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association East Division volleyball Wednesday.

Gao:Wisa:S Stevens chipped in six kills, 13 digs and five aces; Chloe Luther had seven kills and two aces; Jada Geiger had six kills; and Jillian Gernatt had 34 assists for the Panthers (7-1, 7-1).

Cate Ayers had 17 assists, four aces and a kill for the Eagles (6-4, 5-3).


RANDOLPH — Eve Adams had 21 kills and Kameron Luce had 25 assists as Randolph swept Pine Valley 25-20, 25-12, 25-5 in East Division action.

Donnilynn Sheldon had six kills and Sadie Steward had four; Avery Morrison and Adams each had eight digs; and Alanna Sluga had six aces and Adams had five for the Cardinals (10-1, 8-0).

The Panthers fell to 3-6 overall and 3-5 in the league.


SILVER CREEK — Natalee Leiper had nine kills, 14 digs, two aces and a block to lead Ellicottville to a 25-21, 25-15, 25-17 sweep of Silver Creek in the East Division.

Allison Rowland added six kills, 10 digs and four aces; Ande Northrup had 13 assists and two aces; and Dalayla Alexander had eight digs and four aces for the Eagles (5-5, 5-3).

The Black Knights fell to 3-8 overall and 2-6 in the league.


CATTARAUGUS — Cattaraugus-Little Valley picked up its first win of the season with a 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 sweep of Salamanca in the East Division.

The Timberwolves improved to 1-9 overall and 1-7 in the league.

Karina Mireles-Crouse had five kills, six digs and two blocks; Marijah Skye had five kills, seven digs and eight aces; Faith Papke had six assists and two aces; and Marlee Maybe had six assists, seven digs and three aces for the Warriors (2-8, 1-7).
