The Daniel Feather Memorial 5K Run and Walk was held Sunday morning, beginning and ending at Bergman Park in Jamestown. Chad Settles was the top male finisher while Sherri McCall was the top female finisher. The 5K is part of the Chautauqua Striders Runner-of-the-Year Series, which is sponsored by UPMC Chautauqua. Feather, the namesake of the memorial run, was co-founder of Chautauqua Striders in 1979. Striders provides tutoring, mentoring, outreach and athletic program to more than 1,200 Chautauqua County youth each year.
