For the skating event in the Large Division, Cummins’ teammates Larry Bryant, Jason Modica, Mischelle Scott and Jason Stafford had the fastest time of 3:17 to claim the win.

Second and third place went to Falconer Central Schools and Bush Furniture respectively.

In the Small Division curling event, Rand Precision Machining earned first place in the final match (35-29) against GA Family Services at Lutheran. Teammates included Alyson Edwards, Bronson Edwards, Dan Challingsworth and Clifford Sleasman. Third-place honors belonged to Southern Tier Brewing/Distilling Company.

The Battle of the Businesses continues this evening with three events (Scrabble, Quiz Trivia and Blacklight Pickleball) at the Lakewood YMCA starting at 6 p.m., with the exception of Large Division Trivia Quiz starting at 7:30 p.m. Participants are reminded to wear their team Battle shirts.
