ELLICOTTVILLE — Carson Swanson had quite a day for himself at the Drive, Chip and Putt 14-15 qualifier at Holiday Valley Resort on Thursday.

The Westfield resident finished first in driving, including one drive of more than 300 yards and two others at 285 and 290; first in chipping; and third in putting to accumulate 160 points to outdistance Austin Cook, who finished second with 136 points.

Cole Marshall (126) was third and will join Swanson and Cook at the regional on Aug. 9 at Glen Oak Country Club. Cole Gowe (120) and Haiden Green (106), who won the putting competition, are alternates.

The other participants yesterday were Jack Bennett (91) and Samuel Sinclair (79).

Carson Swanson of Westfield will compete in the Drive, Chip and Putt 14-15 regional Aug. 9 at Glen Oak Country Club.
