Josephine Corey gets her first look at McGregor Links Country Club today.

The Southwestern senior will play a practice round at the course that is the site of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association girls golf championships.

Corey, who earned a berth at states following her performance at the Section VI state qualifier at Gowanda CC last month, will begin tournament play Sunday. The event concludes Monday.

Joining Corey on the All-Section VI team are Rosie Dinunzio of Clarence, Lauren Jaskier of Depew, Emily Morelli of Clarence, Tori Leach of Clarence, Kylie Dean of Clarence, Anika Michel of Clarence, Sophia Brown of Lancaster and Riley Morris of Lancaster. Adriana Pliszka of Lancaster is the first alternate and Juli Spacciapolli of Fredonia is a second-alternate.

McGregor Links CC is located in Wilton outside of Saratoga Springs.
