ALLEGANY — Jack Lanski surrendered one hit in six innings of relief, and Scott Korzenski and Nick Zatorski both homered to lead Dunkirk to a 15-7 come-from-behind victory over Allegany-Limestone in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 baseball game Friday.

It didn’t start promisingly for the visitors, however, as the Gators scored six runs in the bottom of the second, courtesy of three walks and four errors to take a 6-2 lead.

From there, it was all Dunkirk (5-5, 2-3).

The Marauders scored two runs in the third inning on a Zatorski RBI double and Brady Corbett’s sacrifice fly; three in the fourth on Korzenski three-run homer; two in the fifth, highlighted by Korzenski’s RBI single; two in the sixth on Zatorski’s two-run blast; and five in the seventh, highlighted by RBI singles by Tyler Karin, Lanski and Zatorski.

Zatorski (five RBIs), Korzenski (four RBIs), Donny Jackson and Lanski all had two hits to lead a 13-hit attack. Javy DeJesus added an RBI double.

Allegany-Limestone managed only one hit the entire game.

Dunkirk will be back in action at noon today when it hosts Southwestern at Al Stuhlmiller Field.
