Silver Creek Wins Again
WESTFIELD — Cade Neubauer struck out 10 and allowed one hit over four innings to spark Silver Creek to a 12-0 nonleague baseball victory over Westfield on Thursday.
Shawn Kelly worked the fifth, and final inning, fanning two and allowing one hit as the Black Knights improved to 2-0 overall.
Leading the way offensively for the winners were Kelly, Neubauer, Joe Villafranca and Brayson Parsell with two hits apiece.

SOUTH DAYTON — Chautauqua Lake scored seven runs in the top of the seventh to post a 14-8 come-from-behind victory over Pine Valley in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 baseball game Wednesday.
Tate Olson led off the rally with a double, and the Thunderbirds took advantage of seven walks and two hit batters to put the game out of reach. Eighth-grader Devin Hewes retired the side in order in the bottom of the seventh.
Leading the way offensively for Chautauqua Lake (1-0) were Jalen Parkhurst (double, four RBIs) and Olson (RBI) with two hits apiece, and Kalen Miller (two RBIs) with a double.
Wayne Libby (triple) and Bryce Sercu (double) both had two hits for Pine Valley.
