Randolph’s Payton Morrison and Southwestern’s Reece Beaver scored 22 and 27 points, respectively, in back-to-back wins against the Wildcats to open the season. Panama’s Mandy Brink scored 26 points in an early February victory over the Wildcats.
Sherman’s girls may face their biggest test this evening.

Sherman then clinched its 12th sectional title with a 59-37 win over Pine Valley before taking down Section V champion Batavia-Notre Dame 35-29 in last weekend’s Far West Regional.
