Other teams in the Bonnies region include Mississippi State, Virginia, North Texas and Texas State.
Colorado finished the year 21-11 and posted a 12-8 mark in the Pac-12. The Buffaloes defeated Oregon, 80-69, in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament before falling to No. 2 Arizona, 82-72, in the semifinals. Second round games will take place March 19-20 with the quarterfinals set for March 22-23, all on campus sites. All 32 teams will be fighting to get to New York City and Madison Square Garden for the semifinals (March 29) and championship game (March 31).
This will mark St. Bonaventure’s 17th NIT appearance in school history and first since 2016. The others were 1951-52, 1957-60, 1964, 1971, 1977, 1979, 1983, 1995, 1998 and 2001. St. Bonaventure won the NIT championship in 1977.
