THE CRAIG FILE
Kasie plays “between the pipes” for the Maple Grove Red Dragons, with her career to be continued at Medaille College with the Mavericks in the fall of 2022.
She kicked her first soccer ball with AYSO in Hughesville, Pennsylvania at age 5. She moved to Greenhurst in 2015 where she joined Bemus Area Youth Soccer and played modified soccer for Maple Grove in grades 7-8.
Kasie moved to varsity as a freshman and helped the Red Dragons to win the Section VI title, losing 3-2 in the Far West Regional.
Sophomore year saw Kasie and her team make it to the sectional semifinal, losing in double-overtime.
A 93% save percentage resulted in an honorable-mention selection for all-stars.
A 90% save percentage earned her a second-team all-star selection junior year.
Senior year was Kasie’s best with a 92.1% save percentage, seven shutouts, and a first-team all-star selection as well as a Post-Journal All-Star selection.
Kasie continues to play indoor in preparation for her transition to college soccer and study in veterinary tech in the fall. Her skill and drive will prove invaluable as she steps into the college net on the next step in her soccer journey.
