Panama Dominates Brocton
PANAMA — The Panama Panthers defeated the Brocton Bulldogs 77-10 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West boys basketball action on Thursday.
The Panthers (9-6, 5-5) dominated from start to finish, limiting the Bulldogs (0-16, 0-9) to two or less baskets a quarter.
Carter Brink led Panama with 25 points, eight assists and four steals; Tate Catanese scored 20, grabbed eight boards and made two steals; and Alex Barmore scored 9, grabbed 12 boards and had two steals.
Ryan Laurito was Brocton’s top scorer with 5 points.

PINE VALLEY FALLS TO FRANKLINVILLE
FRANKLINVILLE — Franklinville held off a Pine Valley rally 57-53 for an East Division win.
Franklinville held a 47-31 lead headed into the fourth quarter of Thursday’s game. Pine Valley rattled off 22 points, but it was not enough as Franklinville survived the late surge for the win.
Blake Frank powered Franklinville with 21 points, seven rebounds, three blocks and three assists; Noah Shenk added 16 points and four boards.
Pine Valley was led by Wayne Libby with 17 points, six steals and three boards; Bryce Sercu scored 16 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made seven steals; Kordell Oakes added 15 points, five boards and three assists; and Miles Volk had 13 rebounds.
