Golden Cougars Earn Two Wrestling Wins

FALCONER — Falconer/Cassadaga Valley beat Fredonia/Silver Creek/Brocton/Forestville 66-12 in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 wrestling match Wednesday and followed it up with a 72-3 nonleague victory over Salamanca.

Brodie Little (160 pounds), Kyle Keefe (189 pounds), Devyn Morrison (215 pounds), David Stein (285 pounds), Kolton Brown (126 pounds), Karsen DePasquale (132 pounds) and Dalton Caldwell (152 pounds) earned pins for the Golden Cougars against Fredonia/Silver Creek/Brocton/Forestville.

Dawson Russo (172 pounds) and Lucas Hoffman (118 pounds) earned pins for the visitors.

Against Salamanca, Keefe (172 pounds), Morrison (215 pounds), Stein (285 pounds), Charlie Reichenbach (145 pounds), Caldwell (152 pounds) and Little (160 pounds) had pins for Falconer/Cassadaga Valley.
