Report: Quarterback Cole Snyder Has Entered Transfer Portal
A former all-state quarterback from Southwestern Central School is looking for a new collegiate football home.
Rutgers QB Cole Snyder has entered the transfer portal, according to an article by Richard Schnyderite, publisher of TheKnightReport, that was posted to Twitter on Monday.
Snyder, a member of the Scarlet Knights’ 2019 recruiting class, appeared in nine games and went 21-of-31 for 165 yards and one touchdown. According to the report, Snyder will have three years of eligibility left to play three elsewhere.
During his high school career, Snyder completed 376 passes for 5,302 yards and 75 touchdowns. As a senior for the Trojans in 2018, he was named The Post-Journal Player of the Year, All-USA New York State First Team, New York State Sportswriters Association Class C First Team and Section VI Class D South Player of the Year.
