HAMBURG — The Jamestown swim team completed quite a first week to its season.

Sparked by six individual first places and two relay victories, the Red Raiders held off Frontier 55-43 in an Erie County Interscholastic Conference meet Friday.

Claiming first-places finishes for Jamestown, which is now 3-0 on the young season, were Anthony Blakeslee in the 50-yard freestyle (24.81) and the 100 breaststroke (1:16.65); Aidan McCleery in the 100 butterfly (1:01,37) and the 500 freestyle (5:33.19); Meyer Talbett in diving (148 points); Alex Hudson in the 100 freestyle (56.72); the 200 freestyle relay of Zach Marra, Hudson, Blakeslee and McCleery (1:40.78); and the 400 freestyle relay of Hudson, Ian McIntosh, Jack Osborne and McCleery (4:02.47).
