Red Raiders JV Squad Stays Unbeaten

EAST AMHERST — The Jamestown junior varsity football team defeated Williamsville East’s JV squad, 30-14, on Saturday.

The Red Raiders offense was led on the ground by Keith Miller with 110 yards on 12 rushes with two touchdowns. Also reaching the end zone on the ground was Gavin Pantojas and Sam Arrington. Carsen Bane added 51 more yards on seven rushes while Isaiah Sanchez had 75 total yards of offense. Through the air, Jack Carlson went 5-for-9 for 61 yards and Miller went 4-for-4 on point-after TD attempts.

Defensively, Arrington forced a safety; Carson Panebianco had five tackles, including two sacks and fumble recovery; Tyrese Wofford had two interceptions; and Terrel Reese had three tackles, including two sacks.

The Red Raiders (6-0) will get the chance on Friday night to finish the regular season undefeated when they host Amherst at Strider Field at 7 p.m.
