UPMC Chautauqua Captures Mini Golf In Battle Of The Businesses
Falconer Central Schools (915) and Jamestown Bar Association/City Court (725) lead the competition in the 33rd annual YMCA Battle of the Businesses in the Large and Small Divisions after the women’s miniature golf event.
UPMC Chautauqua took the first place win over runner up Frewsburg Central School for the Large Division at Pro Putt in Warren. Putters were Lyndsey Goldthwaite, Hillary McCandless, Liz Satterfield and Gabrielle Conti.
Falconer finished in third place.
In the small division, Debra Scott, Deb Gardner, Liz Galloway and Shannon Gunnell of GA Family Services of Lutheran ran the course for the 100-point win.
Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Specialists/CES placed second and third, respectively.
Today’s events at the Richard O. Hartley Park in Lakewood include the 2-mile walk/run starting at 9 a.m., corn hole, sail boat race, scavenger hunt, talent show and the cake decorating contest. Participants are reminded to check schedule for exact arrival times.
The Battle is hosted by the Jamestown Area YMCA and sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union and Eventz by Scott.
