FREDONIA — Three matches went to three sets before Falconer was able to edge Fredonia 3-2 in Division 1 action.

The second doubles team of EmmaLeeann Holmberg and Emily Rhinehart clinched the match for the Golden Falcons (4-2, 2-0) with a 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 victory over Charis LaBarr and Alexis Branden.

Angelina Fiasco also needed three sets to take down Victoria Miller 3-6, 6-0, 6-2.

Gilen Gottinger picked up a three-set victory for Fredonia (0-2, 0-1), taking down Miranda McKane 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
