SOUTH DAYTON — Pine Valley edged Forestville 25-18, 20-25, 25-13, 23-25, 26-24 in nonleague girls volleyball Friday.

Danica Farnham had 22 assists, eight aces, seven digs and a kill; Kaitlin Hayes had 10 aces, four kills and seven digs; and Cassidy Vincent had an ace, nine kills for five digs for the Panthers (5-1, 3-1 CCAA East Division).

Makayla Press had 22 assists and six kills; Alena Thomas had 12 kills; and Kaitlyn Lomanto had 10 digs, four assists and two kills for the Hornets (1-4, 1-3 CCAA Division 2 West).

CLYMER/SHERMAN SWEEPS

ELLICOTTVILLE — Clymer/Sherman swept Ellicottville 28-26, 25-11, 26-24 in Division 2 West action.

Clymer/Sherman improved to 2-4 overall and is 0-4 in CCAA Division 2 West play.

For the Eagles (1-3, 1-1 CCAA East Division), Allison Rowland had six kills, six digs and four aces; Tristin Bomberry had four kills and four blocks; and Natalee Leeper had 10 assists, three digs and an ace.
