North Collins Upends Pine Valley To Stay Unbeaten
NORTH COLLINS — Makenzie Jaworski had seven kills and three blocks as North Collins swept Pine Valley 25-15, 25-8, 25-15 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association East Division girls volleyball Wednesday.
Cate Ayers had 12 assists and five aces while Michaela and McKenna Rice each had five kills for the Eagles (3-0, 3-0).
Pine Valley fell to 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the league.
RANDOLPH SWEEPS WARRIORS
SALAMANCA — Randolph swept Salamanca 25-11, 25-5, 25-16 in the East Division.
Jillian Rea led the Warriors (0-4, 0-4) with three kills, two assists and eight digs while Karina Crouse had five digs and an ace.
The Cardinals improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the league.
GOWANDA BEATS BLACK KNIGHTS
GOWANDA — Gowanda beat Silver Creek 26-24, 25-20, 22-25, 25-18 in the East Division.
The Panthers improved to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in the league while the Black Knights fell to 0-5 overall and 0-4 in the league.
