WESTFIELD — The Frewsburg Bears girls soccer team had a big 10-0 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division victory over Westfield/Brocton on Friday.

Frewsburg’s Nora Edwards and Kendal Sohl had two goals apiece while Alexandra Hultberg, Sam Annis, Gracie Conlan, Rachael Kehrli, Tyra Clark and Taytum Jimerson had one goal apiece. Raena Bird and Jimerson each had two assists for the Bears.

Frewsburg improved to 3-0-0 in league play and is now 4-2-0 overall while Westfield/Brocton fell to 0-3-0 in league play and 0-4-0 overall.

GOLDEN COUGARS PLAY TO TIE

FALCONER — Falconer/Cassadaga Valley scored a late second-half goal to tie Olean 1-1 in West Division play.

The Golden Cougars’ goal came from Brailyn Paladino with six minutes left in regulation. Grace Lundmark registered 11 saves to help secure the draw for Falconer/Cassadaga Valley.

Olean’s goal was scored by Maddie Jones and Emma Edwards made six saves for the Huskies.

The Golden Cougars improved to 1-1-1 in league and 1-2-1 overall while the Huskies record is now 0-2-2 in league and 2-2-2 overall.

YOUNG TALLIES WINNER

NORTH COLLINS — Lina Young scored the lone goal as North Collins defeated Silver Creek/Forestville in Central Division action 1-0.

The Eagles improved to 2-1-0 in league play and 5-1-0 overall while the Black Knights fell to 1-1-0 in league and 2-2-0 overall.
