Gowanda senior shortstop Zoey Kota was named the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division Player of the Year for the league-champion Panthers.

Zoey Kota was joined on the First Team by her seventh-grade sister Addison Kota and senior first baseman Abigail Valone. Gowanda’s Tyler Thompson was named the Coach of the Year.

Silver Creek sophomore Kaylee Hutchison was named the league’s Pitcher of the Year and joined on the First Team by freshman catcher Laneya Olsen and senior first baseman Bailey Watroba.

Pine Valley, which received the league’s Sportsmanship Award, had two players on the First Team. Senior first baseman/pitcher Lyric Westlund was joined by senior catcher Morgan Sandy.

Randolph senior pitcher Abigail Mansfield and sophomore shortstop Kyra Pence; Brocton senior pitcher Juli Smith and freshman outfielder Julia Miller; and Forestville sophomore catcher Dakota VanArsdale rounded out the First Team.

Sportsmanship Award winners were Gowanda freshman Ella Luther, Randolph senior Haleigh Smith, Silver Creek senior Stevie Cook, Brocton senior Heather Johnston, Forestville senior Alexis Alguire and Pine Valley junior Mattison Cadle.
