Clymer/Sherman Gets Past Silver Creek In North Division

CLYMER — Clymer/Sherman (3-3, 3-3) topped Silver Creek (0-5, 0-5) 25-12, 21-25, 25-16, 25-20 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association North Division play Monday.

The winners hosted Senior Night. Mikala Einink led with 19 assists and seven aces; Amaya Lewczyk had eight kills and three aces; Emma Wiggers had five kills, four digs and two aces; and Emma Woods had six aces in the win.

Yanna Mott had 12 assists and four aces while Brianna McEwen had six kills, five blocks and three aces for Silver Creek.

Clymer/Sherman won the jayvee match.

FALCONER SWEEPS

WINLESS DUNKIRK

DUNKIRK — Falconer moved to 5-5 overall and 3-5 in Central Division play with a 25-14, 25-10, 25-18 win over Dunkirk (0-7, 0-7).

Ava Fenton led the winners with 10 digs, eight aces, four assists and two kills; Serena Camarata had 15 assists, six kills, three digs and two aces; Rachael Harper had seven kills, seven digs and three blocks; and Emily Melquist added six kills and nine digs.

PORTVILLE STILL

PERFECT

FREDONIA — Portville is still perfect at 8-0 after a 25-20, 25-7, 25-17 win over Fredonia (4-4, 4-4).

Laura Wilhelm led the winners with 11 kills; Kylie Blessing had 29 assists and five aces; Olivia Cook added nine kills, 11 digs and two aces; and Tori Unverdorben chipped in six kills and five aces.

Tess Corell had 10 assists and two aces; Marissa Cash had five kills; and Anna Valone added two aces and three kills for Fredonia.

RED RAIDERS

WIN AT HOME

Jamestown (6-2, 6-2) was a 25-19, 25-14, 20-25, 25-22 winner over Southwestern (1-7, 1-6) in Central Division play at McElrath Gymnasium.

Ella Smith had two aces, nine kills and six digs; Olivia Pinciaro had nine kills and three blocks; and Hannah Grey added three aces and 28 assists.

Southwestern was led by Lauren Cotter with one ace, six kills, two blocks and two digs; Madeleine DuBois had one ace seven kills and three digs; Anna Rauh had six kills, one block and four digs; and Katie Lowe added two kills and six blocks.

Jamestown won the jayvee game.

The Red Raiders will travel to Falconer on Wednesday.
