Exceptional Stars Athletics, a local organization dedicated to providing children with special needs the opportunity to participate in sports, is branching out yet again. ESA will be holding its first roller skating day on Saturday, Jan. 30 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Russell Roller Rink.

“We have been fortunate to hold three events safely throughout the pandemic and we are very excited to offer another opportunity for the kids. We are committed to giving the kids more and more opportunities in a safe environment,” said Rich Bianco, ESA director.

ESA held its second annual baseball game in August and branched out to provide the first Putt Putt day in September and the first bowling day in December.

“We are open to children of all ages and from all communities. We had six different school districts represented at our bowling event. If you’re interested, please reach out to us,” Bianco said.
