Four Frewsburg cross country runners competed at the 12th Rock Northeast Regional Championship on Saturday. Section VI Class D champion Acacia Barber, left, finished her career with a time of 19:34 on a difficult course which placed her 47th overall in a race that included runners from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. The race featured some of the top runners in the country, including Brooke Rauber from Tully, who placed second with a time of 17:00, and Katie Wiser from Connecticut, who placed first in 16:46. Frewsburg eighth-grader Teghan Trocki, right, competed in the underclassmen race and medaled by placing third in the seventh/eighth-grade division. Toby Gifford, a Frewsburg junior, finished at 19:02 and sophomore Micah Barber finished in 19:57.
