Trojans Post 1-0 West Division Road Win Over Olean

OLEAN — Southwestern improved to 5-3-0 overall and 5-2-0 in the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association West Division with a 1-0 win over Olean.

McKay Young earned the only goal of the contest with seven minutes left to play in regulation.

HARMON LEADS PORTVILLE

SALAMANCA — Portville (5-2-0, 5-1-0) was a 5-2 winner over Salamanca/Cattaraugus-Little Valley (0-4-0, 0-3-0) in East Division play.

Nick Harmon had a goal and an assist, while single tallies came from Nate Petryszak, Christian Gariepy, Michael Cole and Michael Long.

Alex Wenke had a pair of assists, and Kyle Mathes had one.

Neland Cummings scored both goals for the hosts, from Nick Savidge in the 68th minute and Joseph Quigley in the 74th minute.

BUTLER SCORES TWICE

RANDOLPH — Ellicottville (6-2-1, 4-0-1) was a 5-0 winner over Randolph (2-3-1, 2-3-1) in the East Division.

Ryan DeKay added the first goal in the third minute, and Clayton Roland had an assist in the seventh minute.

EAGLES SHUT OUT FREWSBURG

NORTH COLLINS — North Collins (5-4-1, 2-3-0) was a 2-0 winner over Frewsburg (3-5-0, 1-5-0) in the Central Division.

Alex Teijeria picked up the first goal in the 28th minute from AJ Puntillo, while Carson Teijeira grabbed the second with one minute to play from Brody Klawinski.

GATORS BLANK JAMESTOWN

ALLEGANY — Four different goal scorers lifted Allegany-Limestone to a 4-0 defeat of Jamestown in the West Division.

Ryan Roulo and Chance LaCroix scored in the first half for the Gators (9-2-1, 7-0-1).

After the break, Zach Burnett and Connor Bates found the back of the net.

Jon Brito and Evan Sharpe combined for 11 saves in net for the Red Raiders (1-6-0, 0-6-0).
