Fredonia Blanks Jamestown, 4-0

JAMESTOWN — Fredonia (1-1) was a 4-0 winner over Jamestown (0-1) in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association West Division boys soccer at the Martin Road Complex.

Alexander Rush and Dawson Bird scored in the first half, while Juan Matias and Rush added two more goals in the second period.

John Brito made 19 saves in net for the Red Raiders.

GOLDEN COUGARS EARN SHUTOUT

SINCLAIRVILLE — Austin Johns had two goals and an assist to lead Falconer/Cassadaga Valley to a 4-0 shutout of Dunkirk in West Division play.

Jayden Johns opened the scoring from Austin Johns in the 10th minute before Austin Johns gave the Golden Cougars a 2-0 lead in the 15th minute.

After halftime, Alex Reynolds scored from Jared Dorman and Austin Johns tallied from Carson Olson.

EBERSOLE NETS WINNER

NORTH COLLINS — Derek Ebersole’s goal in the 30th minute from Carson Teijeira stood up as the winner as North Collins blanked Ellicottville, 1-0, in the Central Division.

TROJANS FALL TO GATORS

ALLEGANY — Southwestern dropped a 2-0 West Division decision to Allegany-Limestone.
