FREDONIA — Amelia Harper and Abby Roth were double winners and Fredonia took first place in all three relays to beat Gowanda, 112-68, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls swimming and diving Tuesday.

Harper captured the 200-yard individual medley (2:31.83) and 100-yard butterfly (1:04.86) while Roth claimed the 50-yard freestyle (28.47) and 100-yard freestyle (1:04.36) for the Hillbillies.

Olean/Portville/Franklinville’s Alexis Trietley broke a pair of Jamestown pool records as the Huskies beat the Red Raiders, 102-83.

Trietley broke Allison Stockwell’s 50-yard freestyle record from 2018 with a time of 24.66 seconds and Jennifer Bentley’s 2009 record in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.40 seconds as well as leading both the 200-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relays to first-place finishes.

Jamestown swimmers swam 19 personal-best times, including all three Red Raiders swimmers in the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke.

Individually, Lindsey Spitz was a double winner for the hosts, capturing the 200-yard individual medley (2:44.35) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.88).
