LAKEWOOD — Denny Howe and Tim Sandberg fired matching 37s to lead the Youngsville Area Senior Golf League at Maplehurst Country Club on Tuesday.

Gary VanGuilder was next with a 39 and Bill Kulinksi had a 40.

VanGuilder and Kulinski’s matching 33s were good for low net. Bob Downey and Howe had 34s while Gaylan Critzer, Bob Stevens, Bill Young and Bill Gross had 35s.

Critzer, Al Kuzminski, Howe, Larry Jewell, Downey and Ron Holmes each had a birdie.

Howe, John Blum, Bill Kibbey, Rick Hutley and Marty Yucha won the second-half crown.
