The Cheetah West 15-and-under volleyball team has now won three tournaments this club season. On Jan. 11, it won the 14-team Niagara Frontier Kickoff Tournament in West Seneca by defeating NFVB Red (Buffalo) in the gold bracket semifinals and NCVC Rush Black (Niagara County) in the finals. On Presidents Day, the girls won the SPIRE Institute (Geneva, Ohio) Tournament, defeating Penn Highlands in the gold bracket finals. On Feb. 29, they won the 16-team Erie Bank Sports Park Tournament in Erie, Pa. by going unbeaten in their pool and then defeating Westmoreland Elite in the gold quarterfinals, Flash Red (Cleveland) in the semifinals and Club Thunder (Youngstown, Ohio) in the finals.
