Tyler Hind broke a Section VI record with his 344th 3-pointer, ending up with 24 points and 10 assists in Randolph’s 64-49 nonleague win over Ellicottville on Tuesday. On Thursday, Hind had 30 points in the Cardinals’ 71-54 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 East win over Salamanca. The senior guard ended his week with 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists in a 51-41 nonleague win over Allegany-Limestone on Saturday.

Falconer

Sarah Disbro had 16 points, nine steals, five assists and three rebounds as Falconer beat Pine Valley, 66-34, in nonleague playTuesday. On Friday in a 48-43 victory over Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 East foe Gowanda, Disbro had 17 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Falconer/Cassadaga Valley

Brayden Newman clinched a New York State Public High School. Athletic Association Division II Dual Meet championship with his pin of Mt. Sinai’s Derek Menechino in the 106-pound bout Saturday at Onondaga Community College’s SRC Arena. Newman also pinned Central Valley Academy’s Aden Mead and Clarke’s Gabriel Cubero earlier in the day.

Frewsburg/Southwestern

Gannon Moore

Gannon Moore won the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.14) and the 100-yard backstroke (56.89) as Frewsburg/Southwestern won the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Swimming & Diving championship with 563 points Friday at Olean Middle School. Moore was also a member of the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:49.14) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:30.05).

Dunkirk

Robert Kozlowski was the top individual for Dunkirk’s boys at the Section VI Invitational Tournament on Saturday. Kozlowski rolled a 222-202-212-636 in the morning session. Kozlowski was also a semifinalist during the 10th annual High School Bowling Challenge at Lucky Lanes in Fredonia.

Rachel Glowniak

Dunkirk

Rachel Glowniak turned in the second-highest girls six-game total during the Section VI Invitational Tournament on Saturday. Glowniak rolled a 207-189-217-613 in the morning and a 239-189-192-649 in the afternoon for a daylong total of 1,262. Glowniak was also a semifinalist during the 10th annual High School Bowling Challenge at Lucky Lanes in Fredonia.
