Nance Pours In 30 For Dunkirk

OLEAN — Kymi Nance scored 26 of her game-high 30 points in the first half as Dunkirk rolled to a 73-54 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 West victory over Olean on Tuesday evening.

Nadara Odell and Olivia Smith each added 12 points for the Marauders (18-1, 10-1), who led 26-7 after the first quarter and 45-24 at halftime.

Jessica Beehler chipped in 11 rebounds and 10 assists while Octavia Porter also had 11 rebounds in the win.

Leah Williams led the Huskies (2-17, 1-11) with 14 points.

TRANUM SHINES FOR MAPLE GROVE

A 13-8 second quarter gave Maple Grove a 10-point halftime lead and the Red Dragons hung on for a 45-40 Division 1 West victory Tuesday.

Anna Tranum led Maple Grove (11-8, 8-4) with 22 points, including four 3-pointers, to go along with three steals. Bre Hill added 12 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and four assists while Lauren Grissom grabbed six rebounds in the win.

Anna Buchanan led the Hillbillies (11-8, 6-6) with 13 points and Kazlin Beers added 10. Nagely Vazquez had 11 rebounds and four blocked shots.

WILDCATS BETTER IN 2ND HALF

SINCLAIRVILLE — Cassadaga Valley led Sherman, 19-17, at halftime but the Wildcats outscored the Cougars, 35-15, in the second half to win their Division 2 West contest, 52-34.

Maggie Myers led Sherman (15-4, 8-2) with 15 points, including three 3-pointers, while MacKenzie Gratto had 13 points, 15 rebounds and three steals. Paige Gratto chipped in 12 points and Carrie Sands had three steals.

Sarah Meder led the Cougars (11-9, 6-4) with 12 points; Meghan LeBaron had six rebounds; and Kaylee Pattyson had five rebounds and three blocked shots.
