Peter Auer eclipsed the 1,000-point career milestone Saturday afternoon with 34 points to go along with nine rebounds, seven steals and four assists in Maple Grove’s 80-44 win over nonleague Alden. On Friday in a 91-46 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West win over Cassadaga Valley, Auer had 10 points, nine rebounds and five assists. In Tuesday’s 67-52 league victory over Clymer, Auer had 30 points.

Southwestern
Sofia Genareo had a career-high 28 points to go along with 12 rebounds and five steals as Southwestern beat Allegany-Limestone, 71-30, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 West action Monday. On Thursday in a 62-39 league win over Fredonia, Genareo had 20 points and seven rebounds.

Brayden Newman picked up his 100th career victory with a pin of Anthony Riveria in 36 seconds at 106 pounds as Falconer/Cassadaga Valley beat nonleague Eisenhower (Pa.), 52-21, on Thursday evening. On Wednesday in a 65-16 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 victory over Olean, Newman pinned Charlie Frederick in 35 seconds at 106 pounds.

Zachary Gifford was a double winner with victories in the 200-yard individual medley (2:17.91) and 100-yard backstroke (1:06.12) as Frewsburg/Southwestern beat Fredonia/Cassadaga Valley, 127-54, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association action Thursday. In a 130-52 league win over Panama/Chautauqua Lake/Maple Grove on Tuesday, Gifford won the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.17) and 500-yard freestyle (5:27.66).

Kyle Christensen rolled a 213-264-257-734 to lead Jamestown to a 4-0 sweep of Dunkirk in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 action Wednesday at Jamestown Bowling Company. Christensen’s series helped the Red Raiders to a 925-1,055-1,079-3,059. On Friday, Christensen rolled a 215-232-280-727 as Jamestown swept Falconer with a 1,031-1,001-1,159-3,191 in Division 1 action at JBC.

Ryberg’s series led the Red Raiders to a 796-824-731-2,351. On Friday, Ryberg rolled a 192-191-214-597 as Jamestown lost to Falconer in Division 1 action at JBC with a 703-664-715-2,082.
